The news doesn't get any better than this...

Reported by our campaign leader, Audra...

"It is with Great Joy and a humble heart I can confirm, along with Devon, Ben, Tyler and Gina from CU Students for Life who were with me when it happened, how we witnessed our first confirmed change of heart. All Glory, Honor, and Praise belong to Our Almighty God and Loving Father!

About 11 am we saw a couple storm into the clinic. It caught us completely off guard because it is way outside the norm of what we usually see out there and none of us got a good look at the couple. I speculated (shows you how little I know) that they were parents to one of the young girls we saw go into BAC (Boulder Abortion Clinic) this week. I asked all our Vigil Participants today to keep their eyes out for them and report back. Dutifully, the participants passed on the news that this couple had not been seen leaving the building. Meanwhile, according to the Vigil Schedule, I was going to pray the 4-5pm hour by myself. Instead, the Lord showed his mighty power by sending me angels in the form of CU Students (Devon,Ben, Tyler and Gina) as well as a Minister of God to pray over us and everyone in the clinic. After the minster left, out comes the couple, dark-haired man first. When clients come out of the clinic, I like to try and give them a (what I think is) a loving, warm smile and meet their eyes. The young man looked at me very strange and I couldn't interpret it. I thought he was trying to dissuade me from looking at the blond haired woman he was with, but then with emotion in his eyes and face he said, "We didn't do it." We were astounded and said "Praise God!" Then we saw the woman's tear stained face confirm what the man said as she shook her head 'no.' We told them, "we've been praying for you!" We were in such shock and awe that we didn't get their names, but the Lord knows!

How Great is Our Mighty and Awesome God! This baby saved is a testimony to His Goodness and to all our Prayer Warriors and Vigil Participants out there! Thank you for your blessed prayers this day and every day. We witnessed God save a Beautiful Family today! Please continue to pray for them in the coming months!"

Fall Campaign Kick-Off!

Once again we embark on 40 days of prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil, and community outreach...completely relying on the Lord to guide us in our efforts. We hope that those of you who have joined us in prayer during our three previous campaigns will join us again in Boulder. If you haven't joined us previously and are feeling the Lord's calling, please join us as we kick-off our Fall campaign!

When: Monday, February 15 at 7:00pm

Where: St. Francis of Assisi Church, 2410 Trade Center Ave., Longmont

Joining us will be: Connie Weiskopf, Center Director for Life Choices in Longmont, CO. Before the Lord called her to her current position at Life Choices 2 1/2 years ago, He blessed her with self employment as a fine artist (watercolors) for 25 years. Her work was represented in galleries in New York, SOHO, Santa Fe, Houston, California, Vail, Denver, Salt Lake, among others. She still sells prints of her work, and is working on a website to continue this part of her ministry. Connie and her husband will be married 10 years this coming April 15th. She feels blessed to be a part of the ministry of Life Choices and what God is doing there.

If you are unable to make it to the Kick-Off Rally but would still like to get involved, you can find us at 40 Days for Life - Boulder for more information! We look forward to praying alongside you for the next 40 days as we "stand in the gap" for all of those affected by abortion.

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." ( Hebrews 4:16, ESV)
